PRP Therapy

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy is a medical treatment that involves using a concentrated form of a client’s own blood to promote healing and tissue regeneration.

PRP is based on the science that platelets in the blood contain growth factors and other bioactive substances that can stimulate cellular repair and rejuvenation.

PRP therapy process involves the following steps:

1. Blood Collection: A small amount of the patient’s blood is drawn.

2. Centrifugation: The blood sample is placed in a centrifuge machine, which spins it at a high speed to separate the platelet-rich plasma from other blood components.

3. PRP Extraction: The platelet-rich plasma, which contains a higher concentration of platelets than normal blood, is extracted from the sample.

4. Treatment Application: The extracted PRP is then injected into the targeted area of the body, such as the face (skin rejuvenation) or scalp (for hair restoration) with the aim of stimulating collagen production and tissue restoration. PRP can also help reduce the appearance of acne scarring, stretch marks, skin pigmentation and dark circles under the eyes.
